A Little History
With entrepreneurial spirit and a lot of sweat equity, Erik Duran founded Duran Floral Design in 2014. After more than a decade of event experience, Erik seized the opportunity to start his own shop. To some, it may have been a crazy dream, but to Erik, it's a beautiful reality.
The Duran Floral Design team is an extended family of flower enthusiasts. They aim to make your event not only memorable but exceptional.
Erik emigrated from El Salvador to the United States in 2003. Little did he know the vegetation and flowers that surrounded him growing up would become so interwoven with who he is today. Visits home are chances to reexamine the beauty of his tropical heritage. Personal favorites are crisp white orchids, complex proteas, and a simply perfect monstera leaf.
When not at the shop, Erik can be found jogging or at the gym in part to balance out his sweet tooth! If it is summer he is beach-bound to relax in the sun.

In 2020 the world changed forever with the pandemic. It was a year for reflection and perseverance. Feeling fortunate for the strong unity among the event business friends and colleagues, Erik has faith that together we will grow stronger than ever.
